In 2004, Baldwin Hardware Corporation was sold to Black & Decker. In Spring 2005, Baldwin executives decided that the company's focus would be on expanding and enhancing the Baldwin hardware division and discontinued the candlestick, sconce and gift accessories lines. The Baldwin Brass lamp line was licensed out to a different manufacturer but after two years was discontinued.

Christmas ornaments will continue to be manufactured. That line is licensed out to another company and is manufactured under the Baldwin name.
